Meet Dr. Rene Molenaur:

Educator, APS parent, and lifelong Akronite

I am an Akron Public Schools Board Member, because I believe in Akron. I grew up in Akron, attended King school, and now my own children are enrolled in APS community learning centers. I received my master’s in education from University of Akron and my PhD in urban education and educational policy from Cleveland State. I am not a politician. I’m a mom, a daughter, a neighbor, an educator and a scholar.

Together, we can build a brighter future for Akron’s children, but I need your help.
